02 — What it does

01Stem separation

A neural network splits the mix into kick, snare, hi-hat, toms and percussion, vocals, bass and everything else, live, from any audio input.

02Beat, downbeat and tempo

Locks to the groove and follows tempo changes live. No Pro DJ Link, no click track, no tapping.

03Onsets, levels, pan and pitch

Every source has its own normalized control signals: hits, loudness, where it sits in the stereo field and, for vocals and bass, pitch.

04OSC and Ableton Link

Into Resolume, TouchDesigner, Synesthesia, MadMapper, VDMX, Notch and anything else that speaks OSC or Link.

05Light on the CPU

The model is heavily quantized and tuned, so it sips CPU and leaves the GPU to your visuals.

06Works with Claude

Describe what you want, and Claude sets up the outputs for you through AudioSlice's MCP integration.

Loudness

A smooth, normalized level for that source alone. Drive brightness, scale, opacity.

Onsets

A discrete trigger the instant a hit lands. Fire strobes and cuts on the transient.

Pan

Where the source sits in the stereo field. Move visuals left and right with the mix.

Spread

How wide the source is imaged. Map stereo width to blur, dispersion or field of view.

Pitch

Continuous fundamental frequency. Drive hue, position or geometry from the note.
